Whether your child is a senior in high school or in first grade, there are important elements of their faith that will ground them regardless of the environment around them.

 

One resource that I can highly recommend is The Most Important Place on Earth: What a Christian Home Looks Like and How to Build One by Robert Wohlgemuth. Great reminder about the opportunity to build our children on God’s Word in our homes…as we send them out into the world…and when they return.

Sexual orientation used to be something you were “born with” and was unchangeable, but today both gender and sexuality are seen by many as being on a sliding scale and can be changed on a whim! From battles over men in women’s sports and locker rooms to accusations that institutions are prescribing hormone blockers to children as young as 8 years old, transgender ideology has taken our current cultural chaos by storm and Christian parents need to understand how to engage in a meaningful and biblical way! Ricky also helped launch The Institute for Biblical Sexuality, whose mission is to train the church and future generations about God's remarkable design for gender and sexuality.
